Install
via Positronick CLI
$positronick bot install positronick-release-watch
Companion routine for Positronick feed-ingest: check watched github_release feeds, force-sync if a new tag appeared, do not post to X unattended.
Setup prompt
›Set up a new scheduled bot that watches GitHub releases for listings we already follow. This is not a tweet bot and not a personality file.
Ask me which positronick feed ids or GitHub repos are in the watch set (or how to list them via `positronick feed` / admin). Default cadence: a few times a day is enough — site ingest already runs ~15m.
Each run:
1. For each watched github_release source, check whether a new tag exists since the last stamp.
2. If yes, run the official feed sync for that source so /news can pick it up. Do not invent a second publisher.
3. Do not post to X. Do not merge. Do not publish catalog drafts.
4. If nothing new, stay silent. If a sync fails, report the feed id and the error in one message.
Walk the first check with me, then save it as a Hermes Routine (or Grok scheduled bot). Name it clearly so it is not confused with catalog auto-publish.
