Rowboat (from Rowboat Labs, YC S24) is an open-source desktop AI coworker for Mac, Windows, and Linux. It indexes your email, meetings, Slack, and assistant conversations into a backlinked, Obsidian-style knowledge graph, then works across built-in surfaces — email client, notes, browser, code mode, and a meeting note-taker — organized into per-project workspaces. Apache-2.0. Install by downloading the desktop app from rowboatlabs.com/downloads. Note: some surfaces call external cloud services (e.g. transcription and analytics providers), so review its integrations for your privacy needs rather than assuming everything runs on your machine.
