MiMoCode is a terminal-native AI coding assistant from Xiaomi's MiMo team that reads and writes code, runs commands, and manages Git while keeping a persistent, cross-session understanding of your project. Its SQLite FTS5 memory system tracks project knowledge (MEMORY.md) and auto-maintained session checkpoints, and you can switch between primary agents with Tab while subagents spin up as needed. MiMo Auto is built in as a free, zero-configuration channel to start immediately; it also connects to the Xiaomi MiMo platform, any OpenAI-compatible provider, or imported Claude Code auth.
